How does SmartBoxsm work?
As a user of this service, you download a copy of your open receivables records from your accounts receivable system the same day bills are printed/mailed and transmit the file in any format to RemitStream Solutions. After reviewing your specialized processing instructions, we compare the items received for processing at RemitStream Solutions with the items on this file and apply payments to your downloaded file. We follow your instructions in resolving exception items as they are processed through your lockbox and transmit the updated accounts receivable file electronically back to you for reconcilement.
