FISERV REMITSTREAM SOLUTIONS OPENS REMITTANCE PROCESSING SITE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA - NEW FACILITY EXPANDS MULTI-SITE LOCKBOX NETWORK
BROOKFIELD, Wis.--Nov. 8, 2006-- RemitStream Solutions, the remittance processing unit of Fiserv Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), today announced it has opened a new payments processing site in Miami, Florida. The site expands the RemitStream Solutions multi-site lockbox network to serve financial institutions in the Southeastern United States.
The state-of-the-art facility is strategically located near a U.S. Post Office and the Miami airport. Anna Quinlan, president of RemitStream Solutions, said the location allows financial institution clients to compete more effectively in the Southeastern marketplace by providing an outsourced lockbox solution that does not require any capital expenditures by its clients.
"By adding the Miami site to our existing lockbox network, RemitStream Solutions is responding to the needs of our financial institution clients," Quinlan said. "Our clients' customers will be able to reduce their mail float and post their accounts receivables more quickly by taking advantage of this excellent collection site."
RemitStream Solutions currently offers outsourced lockbox services to financial institutions at additional processing locations in Chicago, Ill. and Walnut, Calif.
